Publication Workflows: These are visual depictions of the content authoring processes within a particular content management system environment. They help the technical teams build the security/permissions model, the actual content management system workflows and associated notifications.
Typical format: Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Word (Overview/Definitions)
Example: Workflows Overview This provides an overview of workflows and details specific roles and responsibilities.

Governance Workflows: These are also visual depictions, but of overall content management or governance processes.
